One volume. 23.5 by 23.5 cm. Unpaginated. 8 stenciled hors-texts, and numerous black illustrations in the text. Contemporary copper half-chagrin, smooth ornate spine, 1st cover retained. Copy in perfect condition. Lucien LAFORGE (1889-1952), press artist (La Charrette Charrie, la Baillonnette.) and illustrator (l'Abecédaire, Les Mille et Une Nuits.) was also a well-known painter in the Salon de l'Araignée created by Gus BOFA. A wonderful illustration of Perrault's fairy tales.
