Aus dem Drang, die Welt mit der menschlichen Vernunft zu erfassen, begründete er den frühen Erfurter Humanismus mit, dem er als Spätscholastiker offen gegenüberstand. Our copy conforms to the copy of the University Library of Erfurt (GBV PPN 568163192). - Trutfetter (c. 1460-1519) was a Catholic theologian, rhetorician, philosopher, logician, co-founder of early Erfurt humanism and influential teacher of Luther, whose opponent he became when the latter began his reformatory activity. - Title slightly soiled and spotted, annotations and underlining in an old hand, browned due to paper, partly somewhat brown and dampstained, almost continuous small corner loss in 2nd part (no loss of text).
