Silver medal awarded by the Uruguayan government to the Uruguayan Soccer Team after the Paris 1924 Olympic Games. Obverse: inscription "Praise to the World Champions. Uruguay For Ever", Uruguayan national flag and the flag of the Uruguayan Football Association crossed and bordered by a guard of laurels. Reverse: inscription "VIII Olympiad. Stadium Colombes. Paris 1924" and dedication of the president José Serrato: "The Republic congratulates its sons for their noble and courageous effort that makes the name of the homeland acclaimed in the world".
