Rare suite of FOUR plain silver plates with contoured edges decorated with filets. The rim is engraved with the Rouvroy-Chabenat coat of arms, stamped with a marquis crown and supported by greyhounds. Goldsmith: Alexandre-Auguste Turquet, active in Paris at 30, rue du Bourg-l'Abbé from 1855 to 1882. Minerve hallmark, Second Empire. Diameter: 27.3 cm. Total weight: 2,755 g. Octave de Rouvroy (1828-1882) married Marguerite de Chabenat de Bonneuil (1831-1918) on August 20, 1860 in Paris.
