COMMODE in solid mahogany. The sides are fitted with flat-banded panels, and are received in molded uprights. It opens on the front with three drawers and rests on a turned, tapered base. Fluted front and back mounts. Small bronze ornaments such as drawer rings, escutcheons and sabots. White marble top molded with a cavet. Stamped on the left front jamb by L. AUBRY. Parisian work of the Louis XVI period. Louis Aubry was awarded the title of Master in Paris on August 31, 1774. He was based on rue Saint Nicolas at the time of the French Revolution. Height: 84.5 cm. Depth: 57.5 cm. Width: 118.5 cm.
