A CHINESE FAMILLE ROSE BOTTLE VASE, 20TH CENTURY A Chinese porcelain bottle vase, decorated in famille rose enamels with pomegranate and peony blossoming branches, classic flower scrolls around the shoulder, the neck with lotus, lilies, peony and chrysanthemum flower heads under a band of ruyi heads on a deep red ground. The bottom with a Chinese Guangxu six character mark. Height: 39 cm. Appears to be overall in a good condition.

A FAMILLE-ROSE ‘AUSPICIOUS FLOWERS’ PORCELAIN CUP AND COVER, GUANGXU MARK AND PERIOD A FAMILLE-ROSE ‘AUSPICIOUS FLOWERS’ PORCELAIN CUP AND COVER, GUANGXU MARK AND PERIOD China, 1875-1908 or a bit later. The bowl and cover each finely painted in polychrome enamels, gilt, and iron-red, with blossoming branches of peonies, chrysanthemums, and other auspicious flowers, one branch suspending a small ornament, the reverse with a flying bat carrying a swastika emblem in its’ mouth, all framed by a band of ruyi above and a lappet border below. The bowl and cover with an iron-red six-character Guangxu mark probably of the period. Provenance: German private collection. Condition: Very good condition with minor wear, little rubbing and flaking to the enamels and gilt. Weight: 165 g Dimensions: Diameter 10.9 cm
