Signed and dated. - Upper corners slightly bumped, very selective color abrasion in the margins. Isolated barely noticeable handling marks and surface rubbing, good overall. Splendid, brightly colored and rich impression with wide margins at top and bottom. Kirchhoff 12th - One of 150 copies. - Published as a sheet in the "Bruckmann-Künstlerkalender" 1971. Color silkscreen on wove cardboard. Signed and dated. - Upper corners slightly bumped, very selective color abrasion to margins. Isolated barely noticeable handling marks and superficial surface abraison, good overall. Provenance: Leslie Hindman Auctioneers, 05/25/2016, lot 57. Moses Soyer was a Borisoglebsk-born American realist painter. He studied art in Cooper Union, and later at National Academy of Design. He had his first solo exhibition in 1926 and began teaching art the following year at the Contemporary Art School and The New School. Soyer's work is in collections of many museums, including Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Museum of Modern Art, Smithsonian American Art Museum, and Philadelphia Museum of Art.
