With the embossed signature "Erich Buchholz" lower right, numbered, as well as with estate stamp and signature of the widow Helena Buchholz-Starck verso, with blindstamp "Edition G.A. Richter. - The corners minimally and imperceptibly bumped, overall very good. Splendid, richly colored impression with full margins. Buchholz/Roters K 47 - One of 140 copies. - Later print, which goes back to a design by Buchholz from 1922 and at the same time the artist's last screenprint. The artist fell seriously ill during production, so that he was no longer able to sign the prints himself. Color serigraph on strong wove paper. With the embossed signature "Erich Buchholz" in the lower right, numbered, as well as with the estate stamp and signature of the widow Helena Buchholz-Starck on verso, with blindstamp "Edition G.A. Richter. - The corners minimally and imperceptibly bumped, overall very good. He had his first solo exhibition in 1926 and began teaching art the following year at the Contemporary Art School and The New School. Soyer's work is in collections of many museums, including Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Museum of Modern Art, Smithsonian American Art Museum, and Philadelphia Museum of Art.
