The loose text sheets uncut. With an original envelope with the imprint: "Sonderdruck der Holzschnitte auf Altchina für die Luxusexemplare jeder Druck signiert von Aristide Maillol", but no signed prints present here. The title font, decorative initials and capitals are by Eric Gill, printed under the direction of Harry Graf Kessler on Maillol Kessler laid paper (with the watermark MK), for the production of which a special mill was set up in Monval.
