Fin de Siecle after Bourdelle, Émile Antoine Petit Heracles (Hercules as an archer). Later cast from the 1st half of the 20th century after the cast from ca. 1925. Bronze with shiny black-brown patina. Mounted on a black marble plinth. 53.4 x 23 x 41 cm. Verso on the rock with the inset stamp signature and to the right with the guarantee mark "Bronze Garanti J. B. Déposée, Paris" and the inset number "A. 1195". - The bow soldered in the center and with fine cracks there. Partially slightly rubbed. The signature with slight oxidation. The marble base with partial losses to the corners and edges and a crack to the lower left. Good overall. Excellent, perfect cast with a dark, warm patina after the well-known sculpture by the Art Deco artist Emile Antoine Bourdelle.
