French School, 18th century Three cats fighting oil on canvas 81 x 91cm Condition Report: Overall: 94 x 105cm The canvas has been lined. Craquelure with rubbing to the edges. Light surface scuffs and abrasions. There is a T-shaped mark to the background in the upper left quarter which may be a repaired tear. A 20cm curved horizontal line to the bottom left quarter, crossing the cat's tail and above the cat's hind leg which also looks to be a repair. A white mark to the bottom edge, centre right, please see images. Not examined under UV light, for a full report please contact the department.
