A label verso states that the work is a study of 'Merkins', owned by Colonel Thomas Thornton of Thornville Royal. Condition Report: Overall: 26 x 33cm Time staining with some small speckles of foxing. A little fading consistent with the age of the work. Not viewed out of glazed frame.
