Beijing 2008 Summer Olympics Winner's Medal Presentation Box Official winner’s medal box from the Beijing 2008 Summer Olympics, consisting of a beautifully crafted red rosewood presentation case, 6″ x 6″ x 1.75,″ with the lid bearing the engraved gilt emblem of the Games of the XXIX Olympiad and the inside bearing luminant yellow lining and a removable medal tray. The case is completed by its traditional Chinese brocade box, 6.75″ x 6.75″ x 2.5″, the overlying pattern redolent of the ‘Propitious Clouds’ design found on the official Beijing torch. In very fine condition.

Bronze, 55 mm, 122 gm, with the front featuring the Bird’s Nest Olympic stadium, their Paralympics Games logo, and raised Chinese and English text along the top; the reverse depicts mascot Fu Niu Lele the cow above gusts of wind and engraved Chinese and English text, “One World One Dream.” Includes its original red presentation case, which bears a few scuffs.
