Edwin Henry Boddington (1836-1905) 'Mapledurham, Water Mill on the Thames'; 'The Haunt of the Kingfisher' a pair, the first signed 'Edwin Boddington' l.l., the second signed and dated 'Edwin Boddington 1869' l.r., oil on canvas 21 x 36.5cm (2) Condition Report: Overall: 31 x 46.5cm Light craquelure. 'The Haunt of the Kingfisher' has a small loss in the centre of the sky. There is another very tiny loss to the left of the group of trees on the left hand side, but overall the paint appears to be stable. The clouds in the upper right corner of 'Mapledurham, Water Mill on the Thames' have a light yellow hue, please see images, but overall both works present well and are ready to hang.
