Frederick William Jackson (1859-1918) Runswick Bay, North Yorkshire, with children playing on a beach oil on canvas laid down on board 37 x 49cm Condition Report: Overall: 44 x 57cm Spots and speckles of surface dirt. Craquelure. We have not viewed the back of the work but it appears to be laid on board. There is a line of cracking running parallel with the right edge possibly due to creasing of the canvas prior to being laid down. Similar cracking to the extreme left edge. The paint appears to be stable. Not examined under UV light, for a full report please contact the department.
