George Clare (c.1830-1900) A bird's nest, eggs and pansies on a mossy bank; A still life of greengages, plums and raspberries a pair, both signed 'George Clare' l.r., oil on canvas 17.5 x 23cm (2) Condition Report: Overall: 39 x 44cm The painting of fruit has a light scratch running through the signature along the bottom edge. The still life with the bird's nest is slightly rubbed along the top edge with small traces of gilt from the frame. Both works appears to be in otherwise good order.
