English School, 17th century Portrait of a cleric, half-length, in clerical robes oil on canvas 77 x 62.5cm Condition Report: Overall: 89 x 76cm Condition issues. The canvas is loose on the stretcher with undulations and stretcher marks. Craquelure, losses and abrasions with flaking to the paint in some areas.There is a 2cm x 6cm loss to the canvas to the left of the sitter's head, please see illustration. Not examined under UV light, for a full report please contact the department.
