Description
PARIS 1779 - 1780 Silver oil and vinegar cruet holder, two stoppers with cased discharges on the lower part - the upper part of the stoppers probably modified - and two glass cruets. Shuttle-shaped, it rests on four scrolled, foliate feet, both ends embellished with a palm motif, the oil-bowl holders stamped and edged with pearls. Engraved with a coat of arms surmounted by a marquis's crown.
