Historicism silver bridal cup, partially gilded. Fully sculpted depiction of a female figure in a Renaissance dress, the bell-shaped skirt serving as a dome. In raised hands, a movably clamped cup between two open-worked, voluted bows. Richly decorated in the form of volutes, scrollwork and latticework over a chased ground. Gilt interior. Marked 800. Weight approx. 265 g. H. 20 cm. A German Historism parcel-gilt silver stirrup-cup. Gilt inside. Standard mark 800. German. Circa 1900.
