MAZARINE COMMODE, DAUPHINOIS WORK, FIRST HALF OF THE 18th CENTURY trapezoidal shape, in ash wood, olive wood and ash veneer inlaid with leaves and decorated with reserve frames. It opens to three drawers with rocaille escutcheons and page pull handles. Cutaway jambs adorned with a curved band dying into a doe's hoof, topped by a stylized palm leaf.
