Description

1974 Jaguar TYPE E V12 Roadster French registration title No MOT The latest iteration of the legendary E-Type: the engine has been upgraded, this time to a 5.3-litre aluminium V12 developing 272 hp... The lines have also been revised to make them longer and to meet the demands of such a power unit The car is fitted with the desirable manual gearbox and has been in a major French collection for 19 years, having arrived on French soil in 1998. Cosmetic condition revealing an old restoration of fairly good quality, in need of attention in certain areas, notably the upholstery finish and the rocker panels, which show some traces of surface corrosion (particularly on the rear wheel arches, which appear to have been reworked before arriving with the current owner); soft top in good overall condition As this car has seen very little use in recent years, the mechanics require an extensive general overhaul, including a complete overhaul of the engine and running gear. However, the car is functional and the stainless steel exhaust system was replaced in 2020, the year in which it underwent its last general overhaul A great opportunity for an enthusiast looking for a hair-raising drive in a Type E V12 on a – very – reasonable budget!

JAGUAR XJS CABRIOLET, 1989 1st registration: 16/03/1989 Type: MPV Body : CABR Serial number : SAJJNADW4DM159121 Fiscal power : 29 CV Energy : ES Mileage : 142 212 kms (not guaranteed) Internationally renowned and synonymous with luxury and elegance, this British car caused controversy in its early days by breaking with Jaguar tradition. At issue were its rather massive, angular lines and the disappearance of wood in favor of matte-black plastic, very much in vogue in the 70s. Despite the oil shocks of the '70s, the number of cylinders of the new model won over the hearts of Jaguar aficionados, as did the more popular BMW 6-series and Mercedes slc 500. Proof of its success was its 21-year production run, from 1975 to 1996. The Jaguar XJS Cabriolet is an iconic car that embodies classic British luxury and style. It is part of Jaguar's legendary line of XJ models, renowned for their comfort, style and performance, and today considered a timeless icon of British automotive design. Technical specifications - Engine: V12, 5.3 liters, approx. 295 hp - Transmission: four-speed automatic - Performance: acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in approx. 7.5 seconds. - Top speed: approx. 240 km/h The engine has been successfully restarted, but as the car has been parked in the dry for several years, it will need a complete overhaul, including a check of all safety features. The paintwork has a few defects, but is of a very good appearance. Structural elements show little visible corrosion. Hood not tested. Nice upholstery. French registration document. With technical inspection.
