Description

1982 Ferrari 308 GTSi Kit Kamei

French registration title No MOT ERRATUM: please note that the roadworthiness test is a counter inspection for major defects The model we’re presenting here is one of the last GTSi to be produced for the 1982 model year and, on the day of our test drive, had 51,263 miles on the clock; sold new in the United States, it was first registered on 1 July 1982 Registered in France in 1989, it was acquired by its current owner in 2015; repainted several years ago, its bodywork still bears its original Stradale Giallo yellow livery, while the interior is in generally good condition despite the fabric of your ‘targa’ roof lining having become loose over the years Rare enough to merit a mention, it was fitted with a kit by German tuner Karl Meier: the bumper was replaced by a front blade encompassing the parking lights and the radiator grille; no other modifications were made to the engine or running gear The original lines designed by Léonardo Fioravanti are timeless and marked its era; on the mechanical side, the Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection system feeding the 2,927 cc 90° dry-sump V8 produced 214 hp and a very respectable 243 Nm of torque, for a weight of around 1,300 kg and a top speed of 240 km/h Now up for revision, this car will undoubtedly appeal to collectors looking for one of the most iconic Ferraris of the 1980s
