Adam". Date: 19th century Description: This is a sheet with a central character surrounded by various vignettes. These vignettes illustrate various scenes of everyday life and work, including rural and domestic depictions. The monotone colour scheme and the precise lines suggest that the work was created using printmaking techniques. The work is located in the context of didactic illustration or alphabetical teaching.
