A WOODEN-LAQUERED BOX China, Qing dynasty, 19th century h cm 14 x w cm 38 x d cm 31 Of lobed hexagonal section and resting on four winged dragon-shaped feet, it is richly decorated in gold in the classic Cantonese style with reserves containing characters in gardens, dragons, and floral motifs.
