GORBACHEV MIKHAIL: (1931-2022) Soviet politician who served as General Secretary of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union 1985-91 and as President of the Soviet Union 1990-91, Nobel Peace Prize winner 1990 & HAVEL VACLAV (1936-2011) Czech statesman and author who served as the last President of Czechoslovakia 1989-92 and as the first President of the Czech Republic 1993-2003. Signed colour 7 x 5 photograph by both Gorbachev and Havel individually, the image depicting them shaking hands as they exchange a pact on the withdrawal of Soviet troops from Czechoslovakia during Havel´s visit to Moscow on 26th February 1990. Signed by Gorbachev in black ink and by Havel in dark green ink, both with their names alone to the base of the image. EX
