WILLIAM IV: (1765-1837) King of the United Kingdom of Great Britain & Ireland 1830-37. A.L.S., William, one page, 4to, Horse Guards, n.d. ( ´Thursday Afternoon´, annotated 1812 in another hand), to James Willoughby Gordon. The Duke states that he wishes to speak with his correspondent about some business, continuing ´I will thank you to call on me tomorrow morning between ten and eleven: I will not keep you many minutes´. With two light blind embossed seals and a small smudge to the signature. Some slight traces of former mounting to the verso, VG Sir James Willoughby Gordon (1772-1851) British General who served as Quartermaster-General to the Forces 1811-51.
