FRIEDMAN MILTON: (1912-2006) American Economist and Statistician. Awarded with the 1976 Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences. Friedman served as an advisor to U.S. President Ronald Reagan and to British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher. The Economist described him as "the most influential economist of the second half of the 20th century ... or possibly of all of it".
