SCHULBERG BUDD: (1914-2009) American screenwriter, remembered for his Academy Award winning screenplay for the crime drama film On the Waterfront (1954). T.L.S., Budd Schulberg, one page, 4to, Westhampton Beach, New York, 17th September 1975, to Heinz Birker. Schulberg thanks his correspondent for their letter and continues to inform them that ´ "The Four Seasons of Success" is a book of essays on famous authors I have known. It was published in the U.S. by Doubleday and in England by Robson Books (1974). My novel "The Disenchanted", was recently re-published by Viking/Compass with a new Introduction.
