His works deal with popular culture, his sculptures depict simple objects, including balloon animals, and have sold for substantial sums, including two record auction prices for a work by a living artist, reaching 91 million for Rabbit in 2019. A very fine signed colour 8 x 10 photograph by Koons, the image showing him in a close-up portrait pose.
