WARHOL ANDY: (1928-1987) American pop artist. Book signed, being a hardback edition of Warhol, first edition published by The Tate Gallery, London, 1971, as the exhibition catalogue for Warhol´s works on display at the gallery from 17th February to 28th March 1971, featuring a foreword by Norman Reid, an essay by Richard Morphet, and various illustrations (some in colour). Signed by Warhol with his name alone to the front cover of the colour dust jacket which features his famous 1964 image of Marilyn Monroe (an image of Elizabeth Taylor entitled Liz from 1963 appears on the back cover). The signature is a little light although remains perfectly legible. Some light wrinkling and minor age wear to the dust jacket and some very light foxing to the title pages, otherwise about VG
