Signed colour 11 x 8 photograph of the artist reclined in a pensive three-quarter length pose within his studio with a copy of one of Paul Celan´s books (a major source of inspiration) in his hands. Signed by Kiefer in blue fountain pen ink with his name alone across the head of the image. EX Provenance: The vendor informs us that the signature was obtained in person on the occasion of Kiefer presenting Solaris , his design for the safety curtain of the Vienna State Opera house in November 2023.
