DELVAUX PAUL: (1897-1994) Belgian Surrealist Painter, famous for his paintings of female nudes. An excellent signed and inscribed book by Delvaux, being a paper cover copy of `7 Dialogues avec Paul Delvaux´, written by Jacques Meuris, 7 x 7, 140 pages, edited by Le Soleil Noir, 1971, containing multiple pages showing images of Delvaux´s paintings, in French. Signed and inscribed by Delvaux and also by Jacques Meuris to the title page. Delvaux states ` A fine et Marc Mendelsohn en toute amitié. Le 28-1-72. P. Delvaux´, also signed and inscribed by Meuris, stating ` A Fine et Marc Mendelsohn, avec les amitiés de Jacques Meuris, en homme et en roi, cette fois!´ VG
