A 17th Century Allegorical Tapestry depicting Dionysus crowning Ariadne with a wreath of stars, in a woodland setting with bird perched amongst the leafy canopy. The scene framed by an elaborate border infilled with profusion of flowers and foliage incorporating birds in scrolled cartouches either side, 105'' x 92'' (267 cm x 234 cm).
