The 5'' (12.5 cm) wide brass face having a silvered roundel to the arch signed Robt Davy HOVETON, above a silvered chapter ring marked with black Roman numeral hour counters and an outer ring of Arabic numerals marking five minute divisions, with an alarum to the matted centre. 9½'' (24 cm) in height.
