Nat NEUJEAN (1923 - 2018) L'instant unique, 1969 Dated and numbered 1/6 Bronze, patinated Signed on wooden base Height: 105 cm ; Width: 50 cm ; Depth: 86 cm Similar model reproduced in Nat Neujean, Atelier Vokaer, Brussels, 1986, p. 75, 76 and 77 After studying sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, Nat Neujean worked in Brussels and Paris. In 1960, he won the Royal Academy of Belgium's prize for sculpture and went on to teach in Boston (USA). He then divided his time between Brussels and Florence. He carried out numerous commissions, including portraits of André Malraux, Paul Delvaux and Robert Schuman. His works were exhibited in Belgium, the United States, Canada, Holland, the United Kingdom and Italy.
