A Persian kulah khud, 19th century Helmet with a skull forged in one piece, the front forged in the shape of a human face, curved horns and plume sockets on the sides, the crown plate in the shape of a horned human head, with a riveted, square point on top, and a non-sliding nose iron held in place by a screw. A helmet M 1896 for enlisted men/NCOs of the Pioneers Black lacquered leather skull (crackled front peak, front peak seam open) with nickel silver fittings. Screwed emblem on the front (originally wedged, one threaded bolt detached), neck strap with ventilation slider, rotating smooth point on plate with four round-headed pins. Leather chinscales on button 91, imperial and national cockade of lacquered sheet metal. Good brown leather flap lining. Reworked, straps and cockades replaced. Partially slightly damaged, signs of age. Condition: II - III

Composite officer's or senior non-commissioned officer's spiked helmet (adapted from a firefighter's helmet?), nickel silver trim, long removable spike on cloverleaf base, gold star-shaped rivets, flat scale chinstraps also in nickel silver, nickel silver nape stiffener, round visor with nickel silver visor collar. Wolfs tooth leather interior. Two repainted roundels. Helmet mounted with brass Garde eagle plate, pierced crown, silver Garde star center, mounting screw displaced and re-soldered with tin. No cracks, varnish intact. Condition 2
