Non-commissioned officer's chapska for the 15th Schleswig-Holstein Uhlans regiment, black leather cap topped by a square tray covered in daffodil cloth, round manufacturer's stamp inside (illegible), visor encircled by a white nickel silver rim stamped "H.CLEMEN", plate with eagle holding sceptre and globe in its talons, stamped FR for Friedrich Rex in honor of Frederic 1st, first King of Prussia, and headband with motto "Mit.Gott.Für.Koenig.und.Vaterland", scale chinstrap typical of cavalry units and roundels, leather interior with seven wolf's teeth (two wolf's teeth missing), headgear worn, beautifully presented Germany WWI era.
