‡ A RARE DAGGER, POSSIBLY 14TH/15TH CENTURY in excavated condition, with tapering double-edged blade of flattened-diamond section, iron hilt comprising straight cross-piece of rectangular section, slender tang, and large ring pommel, 34.0 cm Provenance Excavated in Turkey, circa 1960 Howard M.
