‡ A RARE SWISS DAGGER (BASELARD), 14TH CENTURY/15TH CENTURY with broad tapering blade of flattened-diamond section formed with a pair of short deep fullers on each face (light pitting), iron hilt of characteristic form comprising robust guard and slightly curved T-shaped pommel, fitted with a pair of horn grip-scales, perhaps the original, retained by seven hollow copper alloy rivets, and in very good condition throughout, 35.5 cm overall Provenance Peter Dale or Robin Wiggington Howard M.
