A SOUTH INDIAN REFLEX COMPOSITE BOW, 17TH/18TH CENTURY, POSSIBLY MADRAS, TAMIL NADU formed of wood, bone and sinew, lacquered over its surface with a red background decorated with traditional ornament in yellow and gold pigments, reinforced with bands of sinew, leather grip, fitted with an iron plaque at the front punched with the number '8', 146.3 cm.
