ZHUKOV GEORGY: (1896-1974) Soviet General and Marshal of the Soviet Union who oversaw some of the Red Army's most decisive victories during World War II. The personal identity card of Peter Dorokhov, personal adutant to Zhukov, the partially printed 12mo document consisting of twelve pages and numbered 17956, with a small photograph of Dorokhov and official circular stamp, issued in 1949 for his duties under the command of the Urals Military District, the interior pages with a number of entries dated between 1944 and 1951, signed twice by Zhukov and also bearing the signature of Dorokhov. Some light overall age wear and minor staining, G Zhukov served as Commander of the Urals Military District from 1948-53.
