KALASHNIKOV MIKHAIL: (1919-2013) Russian firearms designer, most famous for developing the AK-47 assault rifle. Book signed and inscribed, being a hardback edition of Notes of a Weapon Designer, Russian text edition published in Moscow, 1992. Signed to the title page by Kalashnikov beneath an inscription in Russian in another hand, dated 17th October 1995. Bound in dark blue with black stamped lettering to the cover alongside an image of a gun and medal in gold and with gilt stamped title to the spine. VG
