CHAPLIN CHARLES: (1889-1977) English film comedian, Academy Award winner. A wonderful, large vintage signed 9 x 13 photograph of Chaplin, the image depicting the young, dapper actor seated in a three-quarter length pose. Photograph by the Strauss Peyton Studios and bearing their white facsimile credit (and dated of 1921) in the negative to the lower right corner and with a further credit stamp to the verso. Signed ( 'Truly, Chas Chaplin') by Chaplin in bold, dark fountain pen ink to a light area at the base of the image.
