[1936 SUMMER OLYMPICS]: Selection of original vintage unsigned press photographs (11 x 7 and slightly smaller), some postcard photographs and smaller images, all relating to the Games of the XI Olympiad held in Berlin, Germany, 1st to 16th August 1936, the different images depicting the Olympic Stadium nearing completion (March 1936), the United States Olympic team marching in a parade on the opening day of the Olympics, Adolf Hitler, Hermann Goering, Joseph Goebbels and other Nazi officials attending a marathon race (9th August 1936), various competitors including swimmers, athletes, discus throwers, the American rowing team, the American trio of female springboard divers Marjorie Gestring, Katherine Rawls and Dorothy Poynton-Hill receiving their medals (13th August 1936) etc. Some of the American and German press photographs have credit stamps and printed captions to the versos. Also including an unsigned printed slim 4to dinner menu from the S.S. Europa (tourist class) dated 10th July 1936 and featuring a colour image to the cover in celebration of the 1936 Summer Olympics.
