CORBETT JAMES J.: (1866-1933) American boxer, World Heavyweight Champion 1892-97. A good vintage signed and inscribed sepia 7.5 x 9.5 photograph of the dapper Gentleman Jim in a head and shoulders pose. Photograph by Apeda of New York. Signed in green fountain pen ink to the base of the image, ´To my dear pal Leo Kahn with warmest regards from your friend Jim Corbett´. Neatly mounted to card and with a light, thin strip of minor discoloration to the upper edge, evidently caused by previous framing. About VG
