The rounded handle is attached to the neck and ends in the deer's hindquarters. 18.7 x 38.3 cm. Amlash, 11th-11th century B.C. Provenance: Former Dr. Djafari collection, Kaiserslautern (1900-1981), Germany. An Amlash terracotta rhyton in a form of a stag. In the shape of a stag, with a long beak forming the muzzle of the animal. The body forming the belly, the neck located at the back of short tubular shape. The rounded handle is attached to the neck and ends at the hindquarters of the stag. 9th-8th century B.C.
