Pair of West African tobacco pipes with terracotta bowl, probably 19th century Pair of tobacco pipes from West Africa, probably Ghana. Pipe bowl made of red-brown fired clay or terracotta. These partially chipped. One shell-shaped and decorated with fine grooves, the other star-shaped. Both with a long hollow wooden stem. Probably 19th century with signs of use and age.
