JAPAN, Satsuma. Two polychrome and gilt ceramic covered vases decorated with birds, insects and flowers. One on a yellow background with red shading and the other on an orange background with green shading. They each stand on three feet decorated with animal heads. The handles are decorated with Fô dogs. Late 19th century. Dim small vase : HT : 30 - Diam : 20 cm. Dim large vase : HT : 33 - Diam : 20 cm. Damage and missing parts.
