OFFENBACH (Jacques). Autograph letter signed "les deux inséparables Jacques Crémieux et Hector Offenbach". S.l., "samedi". One p. in-8, printed letterhead of the Théâtre des Bouffes-Parisiens. "Two good seats for tonight - it's to applaud our young friend Beethoven who needs encouragement..." The writer Hector Crémieux was the author, often in collaboration, of some fifteen librettos, mainly for Offenbach operettas, notably Orphée aux enfers.
