First draft manuscript, dated Oct. 23, 84, entitled "Chapters X and XI", with numerous erasures and additions, passages crossed out; sketches in margins; various pens. A draft of Chapters XI and XII of the printed version, this manuscript is less developed, with numerous variants, non-existent paragraphs, numerous changes in the order of the text... Long autograph letter signed "Françoise Sagan", on the first flyleaf, dated September 12, 85, to her friend Gérald: "en le remercierant de me croire responsable de la justice qui lui est rendue ce soir".
